Sunset - Sizihwan

Room 603|Oil, gold leaf and other types of foil 27x35cm 2016

When dusk slipped into the evening, bidding farewell to the day, I looked at the setting sun. In my mind, there rose a strong sense of attachment to the past days. Contrasted with it, there came a feeling of warmth in my heart when I saw a freight coming back to the port. I think, this kind of emotional activities is not caused by single time and single view, but by the memories of the whole experiences of time and space, which response to the present. I want to record the impression of times which is past, I create this work.
