Get Closer, After Shrink - Empty Gaze

Room 701|Ink and colour on paper 30.5x21cm 2017

The electricity pylons invade the mountains. Nowadays these steel structures are universal. The cold metal removes the warm feeling of the soil and the air seems no longer clear. High-voltage electricity passes over the landscape dividing space, crudely measuring itself and the outside world. Taiwanese mountains are still green but there are malevolent murmurs in the air.
