This work is based on Nanliao Fishing Port, where I am familiar and reminiscent with childhood. However, it's not about my own story, but one of my intimate friends. It's a story about waiting. Silently, the bluish sea waters flap the boat hulls and reflect their lights. On the left, I deliberately let it be empty with nothing. It gives viewers a space for imaging beyond the painting: Is she waiting for somebody's return, or, waiting for solitude to elapse?
